Estate Planning Paralegal

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a full-time Estate Planning Paralegal for our Laguna Hills office. Are you ready to take your career to the next level and make an impact in people’s lives? An Estate Planning Paralegal plays a critical role at our law firm, unlike other law firms. We provide excellent training so that you can provide our clients with a WOW experience, just like you would want. You can look forward to eventually taking on as much responsibility as you can grow into.

Initially, you’ll learn how we do things and help produce documents and binders needed for signature. Later, as you gain more knowledge and experience, you’ll learn to conduct meetings yourself, help at our workshops, and take clients through the entire process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 4 years of paralegal experience with a minimum of 2 years of estate planning paralegal work experience in an estate planning firm (you need a basic understanding of revocable living trusts, pour-over wills, medical directives and durable powers of attorney)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent people skills with an easy-going manner
  • Be comfortable on the phone making outgoing calls to seminar attendees, referral partners, and other professionals
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, writing, and proofreading skills
  • Previous drafting experience is preferred but not necessarily required.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Our law firm is looking for an assistant to help us in our marketing efforts.

The position has lots of contact with clients, prospects, and outside referral partners. So, the person selected will need to be very comfortable dealing with people, especially seniors as we are an estate planning firm.

This is a full-time position.

  • Good typing skills (accuracy and speed needed)
  • Comfortable with people
